hi, i’m caityin (NOT caitlin), and i’m a current masters of marketing communications student with an undergraduate background in politics and international relations. i’m also a lover of media- films, books, tv shows, you name it. i believe in the importance of critically consuming media, because the digital both reflects and influences the physical.
i’ve created a space to explore my personal and professional love – which lies at the intersection of pop culture, social media, technology and commerce, particularly marketing from a social media perspective. i do this through essays and thinkpieces – i find that mapping things out chronologically and observing how, why and when they’ve developed is key to understanding what’s going on, and what happens next in the world of marketing.
